Use & Care

How to Store

Roll your Manduka mat with the top surface facing outwards so the edges stay flat and don't curl. Store it somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sunlight, to keep the material in good condition for longer.

Grip Care

The closed-cell surface of PRO series mats does not absorb sweat, so it can feel slippery when new. Grip improves with continued use. For intense practice or hot yoga, use a yoga towel on top for a more stable footing.

We recommend the Manduka eQua Mat Yoga Towel or Manduka Yogitoes Skidless for extra grip during sweaty sessions.

How to Clean

Clean your mat regularly with warm water or a dedicated yoga mat cleaner. Avoid other untested chemicals so the mat surface does not get damaged. Spray evenly across the surface, then wipe it dry before rolling the mat back up.

For best results, use Manduka Yoga Mat Wash, which is safe for the mat surface.
